TANGIHANGA

Under contract to the Wi Pere Trust, for a number of years, we have planted and maintained over 50,000 native trees along waterways and on hill country. This is a significant project in working towards future proofing sustainable land management practices. The Wi Pere Trust commitment to large scale planting and maintenance is a positive example of what can be achieved with long-term environmental restoration. A unique priority for this project is enhancing the local ecosystem for the tuna (eels) of the area.
